Journals

Below are the journals for each of the 12 Long Walks in the order in which they were completed.

The series began with the Pacific Northwest Trail on July 2, 2011, and finished at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail on December 28, 2012.

The total distance was approximately 14,342 miles (23,081 km). During the 545 days of the journey I passed through 4 Canadian provinces, 29 US states and used 28 pairs of trail running shoes.
