PCT Alumni Hike the White Mountains

I recently spent a fantastic few weeks in New Hampshire. In addition to the presentations for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), I had the opportunity to do some hiking with fellow Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) alumni Nancy “Why Not” Huber and Brian “Beardoh” Ristola.

“Why Not”, a two-time Hawaii Ironman triathlete, is currently on the home stretch of her Appalachian Trail (AT) hike, which when finished will constitute the completion of her Triple Crown (PCT 2009, Continental Divide Trail  2012, AT 2013).

“Beardoh”, who hiked the AT in 2011 and the PCT the following year, plays bass guitar for a ZZ Top tribute band, in addition to starring in the title role of an obscure Siberian sci-fi / fantasy film, Rasputin comes to America
